1. Who We Are
BTC Regime ("we", "us", "our") operates the cryptocurrency market analytics dashboard at btcregime.com. For privacy inquiries, contact us at support@btcregime.com.
2. Data We Collect
- Account data: Email address and hashed password (bcrypt) when you create an account.
- Payment data: Processed entirely by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status — never your card details.
- Usage data: IP address, pages visited, API request counts for rate limiting. Retained for 90 days.
- Cookies: A single HTTP-only authentication cookie for session management. No tracking cookies.
3. Data We Do NOT Collect
- Wallet addresses or private keys
- Trading history or portfolio data
- KYC/identity documents
- Browsing data outside our site
4. How We Use Your Data
- Provide and maintain the dashboard service
- Process subscription payments via Stripe
- Send transactional emails (account confirmation, payment receipts)
- Enforce rate limits and prevent abuse
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.
5. Third-Party Services

We do not share user data with our data providers (Coinglass, Financial Modeling Prep, FRED).
6. Data Security
- Passwords hashed with bcrypt (12 rounds)
- Database encrypted at rest (Neon)
- HTTPS enforced on all connections
- HTTP-only, SameSite cookies prevent XSS/CSRF
7. Data Retention
- Account data: Kept while your account is active + 30 days after deletion request.
- Usage logs: 90 days.
- Payment records: Retained by Stripe per their retention policy.
8. Your Rights (GDPR)
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Delete your account and associated data
- Opt out of marketing emails (we don't send any)

9. Changes to This Policy
We will notify registered users by email at least 30 days before any material changes to this privacy policy take effect.
